Galapagos!




What?!  Another publication of Lo Que Pase?! But it's barely been a month since the last installment! How can it be? Well, it's been a big month for the Beesleys in Ecuador. We took advantage of a last minute deal and went to the Galapagos. We were blown away by the landscapes and wildlife and decided to dedicate an entire post to this experience.

    Even if you were able to reach some of the more remote sections of Galapagos islands on your own, the cost of hiring guides and boats might make it impractical for you to do so. But on a cruise, you'll have a schedule, a cozy accommodation, and all meals (Tip Top Cruises).

Guardarraya, a fun band we saw at the Cuenca independent music festival Welcome back to Lo Que Pase. Since our last post, the Beesley family has settled back into a life of routine in Cuenca. The kids are all fully in the swing of their classrooms and now have friends and know when they have assignments due. It’s been a truly amazing process to watch them acquire near fluency in Spanish. And Nick and Susie have become immersed in various projects like volunteering and writing, studying and creating. We’ve started to forget what we miss and almost feel at home here.
