Aquí estamos Here we are. It’s been almost 5 months since we left Anchorage and 3.5 months since arriving in Cuenca. And it’s been 2 months since our first blog post. It turns out, we are not super bloggers! We hope that this next installment of “lo que pase” finds you and yours well. We will be missing family and friends over the next week as it is the season of celebrating community and giving thanks. We give thanks for our lives, our health, each other, the earth and it’s abundance, and each of you, our community, We plan to celebrate “día de acción de gracias” by cooking an Ecuador-adapted thanksgiving meal for our neighbors, who have become friends. In our second blog posting, you will again find a contribution from each Beesley. This installment is mostly about getting out lives set up in Cuenca and weathering some of the storms that have come with adapting to life here. We each will give you a glimpse of our Ecuador lives.
